Welcome to the new SIBO website! This year, the Italian Society of Eye Banks (Società Italiana Banche degli Occhi) is enhancing its outreach with a major new communication tool: a brand-new website that will serve as the collective voice for all twelve eye banks operating across the country.
It is designed to be a space for dialogue, information, and collaboration—a platform to promote Italy’s commitment to the culture of donation and corneal tissue donation. It aims to keep citizens, healthcare professionals, partners, and institutions well-informed about an eye banking network that together meets the needs of hundreds of transplant centers nationwide.
This website also aspires to be a meeting point for professionals seeking updates on scientific activities and advancements in the ever-evolving field of Eye Banking and corneal transplantation. It works in close synergy with the National Transplant Network and all the institutions and associations with which SIBO collaborates on a daily basis.
